Fast Forward Freight’s Nigeria department and Special Projects have worked together

Once again Fast Forward Freight’s Nigeria department and Special Projects have worked closely together. A bottling company in Nigeria has asked FFF to arrange the logistics for the movement of 2 juice producing lines.

The challenge lies to complete shipping of the cargo and delivering on site in Nigeria at various locations . The initial plan was to ship the production lines one by one but due to the limited time the lines where shipped both within a period of a week. FFF’s office in LGG played a important role in the coordination and handling of the consignment, as where the loading plan and weight and balance
sheets were drawn by special projects. The crates have been shipped in Boeing 747’s chartered from Ethiopian Airlines. Various crates had to be modified in order to be transported in a 747. The max
height had to be reduced to 303.5 cms from the initial 319 cms in order to fit the plane.

Once loaded the planes took off and have safely landed from the direct flight to LOS. FFF’s Nigerian office was responsible for the clearance and delivery of the project. The production lines have been delivered and are up and running.
